Conversations
We're going to need to learn to both listen and talk to one another across divides.
Here are some organizations that are working on it.
Resetting the Table collaborates with strategic partners to build important communication across political silos in American life. Our work ranges from one-off forums to intensive year-long programs for institutional and community transformation that replace long-standing distrust or avoidance with a culture of healthy dialogue and deliberation.
We feel that face to face dialogue and thoughtful, real-time discussion is the path toward “A more perfect union”. We invite you to become a member of America’s largest organization that brings conservatives and progressives together on equal terms to understand our differences, find common ground where it exists, and help the country we all love find a better way.
Belonging starts with conversation.
We connect people across divides – politics, age, gender, race, nationality, and more – through guided conversations proven to build understanding and transform communities.
Everyday Democracy is a capacity building organization that provides technical assistance to individuals and groups working to build multiracial democracies within their local communities. We do this by providing training, coaching, and tools with a racial equity lens to support place-based engagement for community-led solutions.
Imagine a Community Table big enough to serve an international community of active, curious learners who use the power of meaningful conversation for creating positive change in the world…
